Position Highlights
- Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Central Time
- Location: Saint Paul, MN and Edina, MN

You will:
- Process requests for patient health information following company and facility policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
- Use company and facility software effectively.
- Follow the company's and facility's Code of Conduct and policies.
- Report work, site issues, and volume fluctuations to your manager.
- Assist with additional duties as needed.
- Pay close attention to detail for medical records.
- Apply medical privacy regulations consistently to prevent unauthorized disclosures.
- Manage and safeguard patient health records in compliance with HIPAA standards.
- Prepare new patient charts, gather documents, and create digital images of paperwork.
- Respond to requests for patient records, retrieving and transmitting them securely.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, assist with patient walk-ins, and perform administrative tasks such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry.
- Schedule pickups and assist with training associates in Health Information Services (HIS).
- Generate reports and participate in projects to improve operations.
- Mentor staff and lead training sessions for staff development.
- Participate in onboarding new employees and support quality assurance tasks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 or older
- Ability to commute between locations and work overtime during peak seasons
- At least 1 year of health information experience
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Attention to detail, strong data entry skills, and ability to work independently
