Position Highlights
  • Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts starting between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM
  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401K, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off (including holidays)

Responsibilities
  • Receive and process patient health information requests following company and facility policies
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information
  • Use company and facility software proficiently
  • Adhere to the company's and facility's Code of Conduct and policies
  • Report work issues, site difficulties, or volume fluctuations to management
  • Assist with additional duties as required
  • Apply medical privacy regulations diligently to prevent unauthorized disclosures
  • Manage and safeguard patient health records, ensuring HIPAA compliance
  • Prepare new patient charts by gathering documents from paper and electronic sources
  • Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and properly organized
  • Create digital images of paperwork for electronic records
  • Respond to internal and external requests for patient records securely and promptly
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls as needed
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as faxing, mailing, and data entry
  • Meet productivity expectations as outlined for the specific site
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to work at different locations as needed
  • Willingness to work overtime during peak periods
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
  • Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Healthcare experience
  • Experience with production or metrics-based work
  • Customer service experience
  • Ability to build client relationships
  • Proactive in suggesting process improvements

Pay range: $15.00 – $18.32 per hour, varies by location and experience.
