Job description

Responsibilities

Via Linda Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the Scottsdale, Arizona population and the greater Phoenix region. Our 120-bed facility provides specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults, and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and co-occurring addictions. We are seeking a Health Information Management/Release of Information Specialist to join our growing team!

  • This is a full-time, in-office position; the schedule will be Monday - Friday.
  • Location: Via Linda is located at 9160 E Horseshoe Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85258. Must be willing/able to commute to this location.

The HIM/ROI Specialist is responsible for assembling and analyzing medical records in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. They perform audits following federal rules and regulations and process requests for patient health information. This role actively participates in the HIM team and supports other clerical tasks.
