Job summary

Datavant is seeking an ROI Processing Associate to handle release of information requests for medical records in a HIPAA-compliant, timely manner. The role requires safeguarding patient privacy and accuracy across multiple platforms in a high-volume setting.

Requires at least 1 year of HIM experience, readiness to travel to St. Louis/Earth City, MO, and strong communication skills in English. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site training and supportive mentorship is provided.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
• Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems.
• Experience with subpoenas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information per policy.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all protected information.
• Maintain knowledge of Company and facility software.
• Adhere to Company/Facility Code of Conduct and policies.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties, and fluctuating volumes.
• Assist with additional work duties as needed.
• Ensure privacy regulations are applied to guard against unauthorized disclosure.
• Manage patient health records and ensure accuracy and completeness.
