Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of experience in health record processing and maintenance (long-term care preferred).
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Extreme attention to detail.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, scan and verify documents into the medical record daily.
• Audit resident records at admission, quarterly, and discharge for accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain and secure patient information in accordance with HIPAA.
• Order and stock nursing supplies and medical equipment; manage inventory.
• Coordinate with RNs and staff to ensure proper documentation and records.
• Assist with medical records requests and offsite storage tasks.
