Lifepoint Health's Spring View Hospital is seeking a Health Information Management Analyst to ensure accurate documentation for inpatient and related records.

This on-site role in Kentucky emphasizes chart reviews, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with physicians and staff to support quality patient care and data integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Associate's degree in health information technology preferred.
• Minimum Work experience 6 months.
• This is an on-site position, no remote work allowed.
• HIM/Medical records experience preferred.
• Prior experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and reviews inpatient, short stay surgery, rehab, and observation records for accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Analyzes the medical record for chart completion deficiencies, in accordance with regulatory requirements and medical staff rules and regulations.
• Ensures any deficiencies are assigned to the appropriate medical staff member, and data is entered for tracking and monitoring purposes.
• Reviews documentation and updates or clears the deficiencies as appropriate.
• Responsible for answering telephone calls and assisting visitors (including but not limited to physicians, patients, and their family members), while maintaining confidentiality.
• Must perform HIM Tech duties as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm EST

How you'll contribute
