Sturdy Memorial Hospital seeks an HIM Analyst I to analyze inpatient, observation, ED and outpatient records for quality and completeness as per CMS standards. You will prep, scan, and index documents and handle Release of Information requests under HIPAA.
The role requires strong English communication, organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience with Cerner is a plus in a hospital setting.

The Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst I is responsible for performing the analysis of all Inpatient, Observation, ED (Emergency Department), Outpatient SDC (Surgical Day Center), Endoscopy, and Pain Management records to ensure the quality and completeness of clinical documentation as required by CMS Conditions of Participation. The HIM Analyst I will be responsible for prepping, scanning, and indexing documents. In addition, responsibilities include processing requests for Release of Information in accordance with HIPAA privacy laws.

Salary Range: $21.06-$31.96
The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health's benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
