Job Summary:
The Data Analyst in Health and Information Management is responsible for operational management and compliance oversight across service lines, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and policies. This role involves auditing medical records, coordinating with physicians, managing data systems, and driving quality and volume growth through data analysis and strategic recommendations. The position requires strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in data management tools to support leadership decisions and optimize service line effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize case volume across all units or departments within the service lines.
- Research, collect, evaluate, and compile relevant data and information accurately and timely.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures for each service line.
- Create, implement, monitor, and manage data systems to support operational effectiveness and outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive reports, memos, analyses, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
- Identify opportunities for service line development and improvement through system design and evaluation.
- Manage projects independently, establishing priorities, schedules, and communicating status to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to benchmark data and optimize project outcomes.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive and competitive information.
- Demonstrate professional, direct, and collaborative communication in meetings and interactions.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships across all organizational levels.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience including data analysis.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Excellent organizational, follow-up, and customer service skills.
- Effective communication skills with ability to engage clinical staff and leadership.
- Ability to manage and coordinate functional scheduling teams.
- High level of self-discipline, motivation, initiative, and resourcefulness.

Scheduling:
- Day shift, typically from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
