Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have RHIT credential with an associate degree in HIM.
• 2+ years of experience managing health information functions.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, DMH/JC/Medicaid standards a plus.

Responsibilities

• Organize, coordinate, and maintain health information systems across the primary care continuum.
• Ensure compliance with health information privacy laws and regulations.
• Coordinate release of protected health information and support audits.
• Oversee dictation and transcription coordination when needed.
• Collaborate with Finance to ensure revenue cycle continuity.
• Provide training on policy updates to staff.
