Job summary

Guidehouse Health Informatics and Technology Consultants help federal health clients plan and manage complex initiatives, support executive decision-making, and advance EHR implementation and optimization. As a Consultant II, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver digital health initiatives on schedule and aligned with mission priorities.

You will translate clinician and technologist needs into actionable guidance, prepare executive-ready materials, and support change management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Health Information Management, Health Administration, Public Health, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of THREE (3) years of experience supporting project or program management in health care, health information technology, management consulting, or a related environment.
• Experience providing executive-level support, including preparing briefings, presentations, decision materials, executive summaries, meeting materials, and status reports for senior leaders.
• Strong analytical, writing, facilitation, and communication skills, including translating complex clinical, technical, and operational information for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Project Management and Delivery – Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, resource needs, risks, issues, decisions, and measures of success for federal health and digital health initiatives.
• Coordinate activities across technical, clinical, operational, policy, and communications workstreams to keep deliverables aligned and timely.
• Facilitate project governance, working sessions, and status reviews; document decisions and action items; drive follow-through with accountable owners.
• Identify and elevate delivery risks, scope changes, and emerging issues, and develop practical mitigation strategies and recommendations for client leadership.
• Executive-Level Support and Stakeholder Engagement – Provide direct support to senior executives by developing decision briefs, executive summaries, talking points, presentations, meeting materials, read-ahead packages, and recommendations.
• Synthesize complex program, clinical, technical, and operational information into concise, decision-ready products tailored to executive audiences.
