Guidehouse is seeking a Business Analyst to support Agile software development projects for federal and commercial health clients. The role leads requirements activities and partners with technical and business leaders to deliver high-quality software solutions in an Agile environment.

As a trusted advisor, you will own complex requirements and mentor junior analysts while shaping scalable solutions and contributing to overall delivery success in a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship or a Green card is required and must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DHS public trust.
• A bachelor’s degree is required.
• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development projects.
• Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience translating business needs into technical artifacts (user stories, workflows, data requirements, APIs).
• Experience defining, prioritizing, and delivering data-driven product capabilities leveraging modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and/or Databricks.
• Willing to work two days onsite - Hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation efforts for Agile software development initiatives.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, testable user stories, epics, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with Product Owners to manage, prioritize, and refine the product backlog.
• Act as a primary liaison between client stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Define and document functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, performance, integration, scalability).
• Support solution design discussions by providing business and system-level insights.
• Identify and manage requirements-related risks, dependencies, assumptions, and impacts.
• Support testing, defect triage, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business intent.
• Contribute to project planning, estimation, and delivery reporting as needed.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
