Job summary

State of Oklahoma is seeking an Health Exchange Technology Director to serve as the technology advisor to the Exchange leadership, developing programs, assessing needs, and implementing systems to support the Exchange's mission.

The role directs IT strategies, manages vendor relationships, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads enterprise initiatives across the Exchange’s information systems and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Ten years of leadership experience in healthcare technology.
• Experience with current industry technologies and products.
• Knowledge of programming languages including Java, PHP, .net, SQL, ETL.

Responsibilities

• Lead technology initiatives to support the Oklahoma Health Insurance Exchange.
• Oversee software development lifecycle and ensure standards/procedures are followed.
• Manage vendor relationships, budgets, and timelines for IT projects.
• Develop policies and coordinate IT resources with state and federal partners.
