Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Health Equity Program Manager in Charlestown, MA, to advance equity initiatives across a large health system. You will partner with senior leaders to design, implement, and monitor programs aligned with regulatory and payer requirements.

The role prioritizes data-driven strategies, collaboration, and change management to reduce disparities and improve outcomes across populations served by BILH. Strong project leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in health care, business administration, Public Health, or a quality related health care field.
• 2-4 years leading health equity, population health management, quality improvement initiatives, and/or public health efforts.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (Mass. EOHH, NCQA, CMS).
• Knowledge of public health, social determinants of health and systemic barriers contributing to inequities.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications; strong project management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis basics.

Responsibilities

• Leads the implementation of health equity priorities, data standards, disparity analysis, interventions, and outcomes measurement.
• Supports development and implementation of BILH’s health equity strategy and integrates equity across policies and services.
• Designs, leads, and manages projects requiring broad organizational support and stakeholder input.
• Oversees quantitative analysis for health equity initiatives and coordination of milestones and synergy realization.
• Maintains detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, and risk plans.
