Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead multiple healthcare IT initiatives from initiation to stabilization. You will develop comprehensive project plans, manage budgets and resources, and ensure delivery within scope and quality standards.

The role requires PMP certification, 10+ years of healthcare IT project experience, and strong stakeholder communication. A hybrid/workflow with PMO governance is provided to enable successful delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
PMP certification required.
10+ years of progressive project management experience, including healthcare IT.
Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives.
Proven ability to manage EHRs, clinical applications, or enterprise infra.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Waterfall, Agile and hybrid models.
Experience managing third-party vendors and contracts.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and delivery of multiple Healthcare IT projects.
Develop and manage project plans: scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risk, communication.
Ensure adherence to PMO standards and governance frameworks.
Partner with stakeholders across clinical, business, and technical areas.
Identify and mitigate risks to maintain momentum and confidence.
Accurately estimate resources to meet milestones within scope.
Provide updates to sponsors via dashboards, reports, and presentations.
Oversee vendor performance and contracts.
Resolve conflicts through collaboration and negotiation.
Contribute to PMO process improvements.
