Job summary

Sinai Hospital invites a skilled educator to develop and facilitate Health Advocacy & Fairness (HAF) educational programs across LifeBridge Health. You will design equity-focused modules, cultural humility training, and anti-discrimination interventions for clinical and non-clinical staff.

The role leads monthly discussions, supports ERGs, and helps shape inclusive policies. You will collaborate with the HAF team and CHAO to advance outcomes, prepare materials, and present findings for internal

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional experience as an educator, speaker or moderator in health equity
• Must also have at least 2 years in a clinical setting

Responsibilities

• Developing and facilitating educational modules and learning experiences focused on equity, health equity, cultural humility, anti discrimination interventions, just culture, and related topics.
• Establishing educational goals, training plans, and professional development opportunities for the HAF Councils and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
• Supporting department-based equity training.
• Developing and moderating monthly discussion series.
• Leading the development of inclusive and culturally sensitive clinical and HR policies and practices.
• Working with the HAF team and marketing to develop Monthly Message.
• Creating and updating educational content and resources on internal website.
• Planning and facilitating all HAF Office training sessions, retreats and summits.
• Developing presentations that increase knowledge and application of HAF principles among clinical, operational, and senior leadership audiences, under the guidance of HAF Manager and CHAO.
• Supporting equity and health equity training for nurse residents, medical students, residents, and other clinical learners.
• Leading HAF research, QI projects and program evaluation to identify best practices and assess outcomes, including preparation of manuscripts, abstracts and presentations for internal and external dissemination.
