Job summary

Aleknagik Technology, LLC seeks a Health Educator to support the Armed Forces Wellness Center (AFWC) at Joint Base Langley-Eustis. The role delivers primary prevention services and participates in six core programs to improve readiness and health.

The Health Educator conducts evidence-based health promotion, fitness testing, health coaching, and data entry, collaborating with community agencies and team members to uphold AFWC directives.

Qualifications

• Bachelors-level degree in Allied Health or related field; ACSM/NASM/NSCA/CHES/MCHES credentials preferred.
• Current AHA BLS certification required.
• Must have excellent public speaking and customer service skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence‑based health promotion programs.
• Conduct fitness testing and health assessments using standard equipment.
• Provide individual and group coaching to support healthy behaviors.
• Ensure timely data collection and documentation.
• Collaborate with community agencies and AFWC staff to meet program directives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
