Job summary

Aleknagik Technology, LLC (ATL) seeks a Health Promotion Technician to support the Armed Forces Wellness Center (AFWC) at Fort Riley. The role delivers primary prevention services to improve health and readiness, covering six core programs including health assessment, nutrition, fitness, stress management, general wellness, and tobacco education.

The technician coordinates community events, schedules appointments, manages referrals, performs biometric screenings, and assists health educators

Qualifications

4-year degree in Allied Health field from an accredited college or university.
Current AHA BLS certification required.
Proficient in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
U.S. citizenship required.
Must pass a security background check.

Responsibilities

Manage center schedules using MS Office Suite and military medical record systems.
Coordinate community outreach events.
Schedules appointments, manages referrals, performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
Conducts basic health and biometric screenings.
Coordinates and conducts on-site unit level health promotion briefings using standardized presentations.
Performs data entry for all automated systems currently utilized by the medical treatment facility.
Assists the AFWC Director with equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
