La Clínica de La Raza seeks Health Educators to lead health education classes, enroll community members into health coverage, and provide outreach and advocacy within diverse Bay Area communities.

As a Health Educator, you will develop materials, document services for program evaluation, and collaborate with peers to educate and empower clients across multiple sites. Relevant certifications and a strong commitment to equity are valued.

Competenze

• Knowledge of Motivational Interviewing, Health coaching and group facilitation.
• HIPAA knowledge and compliant practice.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Mansioni

• Provide health education classes and facilitate groups on a variety of topics.
• Provide enrollment assistance in the community and one-to-one to enroll people into health coverage and navigate the health care system.
• Develop and maintain health education materials and resources (curriculum, workshops, pamphlets, bulletins).
• Accurately document services and activities for program evaluation and reporting.
• Train and coordinate peer health educators and Promotors for outreach.
• Participate in community engagement and outreach activities to promote health center services.
