University Health in San Antonio seeks a Health Educator to work with the Get FIT Program Manager. The role focuses on educating women about cervical cancer and screening, along with providing key health information and resources.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, fluency in both English and Spanish, and at least two years of relevant experience. Public speaking skills and additional healthcare certifications are advantageous.
The Health Educator works with the Get FIT Program Manager to educate eligible women about cervical cancer and cervical cancer screening. The Health Educator is responsible for conveying basic health information about these topics and directing members to further resources.
Bachelor's degree required. Two years of experience in an inpatient, ambulatory or community setting is preferred. Experience in public speaking and/or educational presentations demonstrating effective communication skills is required. English and Spanish fluency is required. Additional credentials (CDE, CHW, CHES) are beneficial. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License, auto liability insurance, and a reliable automobile.
