Job Summary

Start Date: Monday, June 9th, 2025

Shift: Monday - Friday: Must be open to any shift between 10:30am – 8pm CST. It is required to work every fourth Saturday from 8:00am-4:30pm CST.

Training: 6 weeks from 8am – 4:30pm CST. Attendance is mandatory.

Compensation: Hourly Rate: $21.50 or $25 including certification through NBC-HWC or CHES only.

The Health Coach is responsible for improving individual health and wellness of program participants and the overall health status of a client's population. The role involves engaging members, providing behavior change coaching, coordinating care with a multidisciplinary team, and supporting operational needs. Supervised by an Operations Coach Manager, the Health Coach will:

• Participate in telephonic engagement and coaching calls
• Reach out to members to encourage participation and adherence
• Coordinate services with other healthcare professionals and vendors
• Adhere to schedules and manage caseloads effectively
• Track member progress and program efficacy

• Willingness to learn motivational interviewing techniques
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and rotating Saturdays

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or 2+ years health coaching experience
• 1-2 years of relevant experience, customer service experience preferred
• Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office
• Ability to learn about lifestyle topics quickly
• Independent work ethic and multitasking ability
• Hard-wired internet connection required
