Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System in Springfield, IL seeks a Nursing Support to provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. The role supports on a Neurology, Oncology and Surgery unit, with documentation and communications essential to patient care.

Schedule: 36 hrs/wk, days 7a-7p. Pay range is $17.00–$23.80 per hour, with actual pay based on experience, skills and education. HSHS offers benefits and opportunities within a values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• 1 year of experience in acute care setting is preferred.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) is required within 30 days upon hire.
• CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant) or PCT (Patient Care Technician) certification in state of practice is preferred.

A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
