Position Details

Sandhill Cove is recruiting for a hospitality-focused Health Center Activity Assistant (PT/16/wk) to join our team at Water's Edge. This is an entry-level, full-time position with a focus on senior engagement and hospitality.

Responsibilities

1. Invite and assist residents to and from activity areas for participation.
2. Lead or assist with planned activities following specific instructions regarding goals, procedures, and outcomes.
3. Set up and dismantle activity areas before and after programs.
4. Assist with record-keeping, documentation, and filing.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Frequently involves moderate bending, stooping, and standing (50%), with the ability to push residents in wheelchairs.
• Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 30 pounds occasionally.
• Work environment involves exposure to chronically ill and frail elderly in a retirement facility setting.

Compensation and Schedule

Starting hourly rate: $15.00

Shift: Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 7:30 pm
