The primary purpose of this position is to provide direct care services to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, some with behavior problems and/or medical conditions. Responsibilities include training, activities, and assisting with basic care. The role also involves implementing goal-oriented programs to promote independence in daily living.
Applicants must be in good standing with the NC Health Care Personnel Registry. Successful candidates will complete training through our Staff Development department, including NCI (North Carolina Intervention), CPR, Body Mechanics, and lifting. The HCT I position requires frequent lifting and bending.
This is an entry-level position with an hourly pay rate of $15.00.
This position is designated Mandatory and must report or stay over during adverse weather events.
