Overview

• The Health Care Litigation team represents California's hospital systems, nursing facilities, and other health care providers in high-stakes litigation and investigations.
• The team handles complex and often precedent-setting matters, including consumer class actions, commercial disputes, litigation involving government agencies, government and internal investigations, constitutional law, civil rights, fraud and abuse claims, qui tam actions, and other complex business and health care disputes.
• Associates gain meaningful experience at every stage of litigation, with opportunities to appear before trial and appellate courts, arbitrators, and government agencies.
• The role requires strong experience with legal research, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and brief writing, along with outstanding legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Prior health care litigation experience or familiarity with the health care industry is required.
