Responsibilities

• Navigating and advising clients on federal and state healthcare regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, the corporate practice of medicine, HIPAA, and reimbursement frameworks.
• Supporting transactions involving healthcare entities, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and compliance due diligence.
• Assisting in government investigations and defending enforcement actions, audits, and compliance reviews under Medicare/Medicaid and related programs.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of relevant experience in health law, gained at a law firm, government agency, or in-house legal department.
• Working knowledge of key statutes and regulatory regimes, including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA, False Claims Act, and corporate practice doctrines.
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated commitment to building a career in healthcare law.
• Exceptional writing, analytical, and communication skills.
