Job summary

Deloitte France seeks a Senior Manager, Health Benefits Consulting to lead complex client work for employers and municipal governments on benefits strategy, plan design, finances, vendor management and compliance.

You will manage client relationships, develop health and welfare strategies, analyze self-insured projections, oversee RFPs, vendor negotiations and implementation of medical, dental, pharmacy, life and disability programs, and mentor junior professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 12+ years consulting or brokerage in US health and welfare benefits.
• 5+ years underwriting experience for health and welfare benefit plans.
• 5+ years managing multiple client projects concurrently.
• Willingness to travel 0–30% and ability to work independently.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Masters degree and broker license are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client relationships, respond to needs, and prepare decision-ready reports.
• Develop health and welfare strategies and plan designs using benchmarks and regs.
• Analyze financial projections, claims, and utilization to support rate-setting.
• Lead RFPs, vendor selection, renewal, negotiation, and implementation for programs.
• Manage project delivery, mentor juniors, and support broader initiatives.
