Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a Health & Benefits Consultant to lead client engagements, design and manage health programs, and oversee vendor relationships. You will drive benchmarking, cost savings, and funding strategies while supporting junior team members in a collaborative environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years in health benefits consulting, and a Life & Health License or plan to obtain within 6 months; travel about 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in health and welfare consulting, brokerage, carrier, TPA, or related experience.
• Active Life & Health License or willingness to obtain and maintain licensure within 6 months.
• Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management and execution of client engagements as primary project manager.
• Act as key contact for clients, managing communications and follow-up on priorities.
• Support design, implementation and ongoing management of health and wellbeing programs.
• Lead plan benchmarking, design evaluations, cost-saving analyses, and funding strategy.
• Manage vendor relationships, renewals, implementation activities, and escalations.
• Lead RFPs and market evaluations for health and wellbeing programs.
• Oversee development of client deliverables, ensuring accuracy and strategic value.
• Facilitate client meetings, develop agendas, and document decisions for accountability.
• Contribute to special projects supporting client and practice objectives.
