Job summary

CVS Health in Florida is hiring a Health Benefits Representative to support client retention by resolving issues for existing accounts. This role is customer-facing and requires building strong relationships with plan sponsors and members.

The position is full-time, hybrid (Fort Myers or Plantation), with travel across Lee County for open enrollment, new hire orientations, and related events. 40 hours per week and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in the health insurance industry.
• Must be comfortable traveling to assigned worksites within Lee County while following health and safety measures.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel).
• Florida Health, Life and Variable Annuity Insurance License, as required by state law (May be obtained in 120 days of hire date).

Responsibilities

• Handling member inquiries including customer service issues, benefits, and policy administration.
• Responding to customers’ requests for claim resolution, plan design changes, and benefit questions and clarifications.

Position Summary:

The Health Benefits Representative supports client retention by providing issue resolution and information to existing accounts throughout the life of the account. They will work independently to solve problems and resolve issues for existing business. This is a customer facing position and will require building strong relationships with plan sponsors and members.

• Knowledge and experience in managed care and/or sales such as: product/process/systems knowledge, account management, healthcare RFPs, and knowledge of administrative operations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Presentation skills with the ability to modify communication delivery based on audience.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
• Associates degree.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $85,068.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
