Job summary

Marsh in Tampa, FL is offering a paid summer internship within the Health and Benefits team, part of our People and Investments business. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and runs from Monday, June 7 through Friday, August 13, 2027.

During the internship you’ll work with Marsh’s U.S. Health & Benefits consultants on benchmarking, data analytics, and client deliverables, gaining hands-on experience in claims analysis, reporting, and presentation design.

Qualifications

• Progress toward a bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, statistics, economics, health administration, health policy, or a related major.
• Currently enrolled in a college or university with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Preferred minimum GPA: 3.0/4.0.
• Permanent, ongoing U.S. work authorization without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze healthcare claims and utilization data, including cost projections and evaluations.
• Support the RFP process on behalf of clients.
• Assist senior consultants in reviewing client needs, identifying suitable approaches, and supporting implementation strategies.
• Model employee benefit contributions to help meet employer objectives.
• Help prepare client deliverables and communications, including reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Support the National Survey of Employer-Sponsored Health Plans to create benchmarks of employers’ health and benefits plans.
