Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is hiring an Employee Health & Benefits Account Associate to support client relationships, administer benefits programs, and ensure compliant plan management. The role involves coordination with clients, carriers, and internal teams to deliver accurate enrollment, reporting, and communication.

The ideal candidate has a degree in business or HR, strong organizational and communication skills, and a Life & Health license (or willingness to obtain within 90 days).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in employee benefits, insurance, or account management is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Must have Life & Health license or obtain within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Client support: respond to inquiries and explain health and benefits plans.
• Account management: assist in administering employee health and benefits programs.
• Data management: maintain client records and enrollment forms.
• Reporting: analyze benefits utilization and trends.
• Compliance: ensure programs meet ERISA, HIPAA, and ACA requirements.
• Communication: coordinate between clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Training and education: assist in training sessions on benefits programs.
• Project support: participate in open enrollment, renewals, and vendor management.
• Administrative support: gather client information for marketing and enrollment meetings.
• Problem resolution: assist with claims and plan administration issues.
• File management: maintain agency files and imaging systems.
