LaPorte Community School Corporation seeks a Health Assistant to support students with health services. The role is 6.5 hours per day, 180 days per year and based at an elementary/middle school in La Porte, Indiana. All candidates must complete a background check and required onboarding documents.

Candidates will submit I-9, tax forms, and direct-deposit information, and view training videos at the Educational Services Center before approval.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Health Assistant; 6.5 hours per day/180 days per year

Before an individual (permanent or substitute) can work with students or have his/her name submitted for approval to the Board of School Trustees, the candidate must complete the background check authorization (at a cost of $15.00--cash or check) and the background check must receive a "cleared" rating.Additionally, the individual must complete a federal I-9 form (providing appropriate identification documents); tax forms; a direct-deposit form (with an attached voided check); and, view training videos at the Educational Services Center (approximately one hour in length).
