Position Summary
Reporting to the Global Health and Safety Director, this role supports the development and maintenance of the company's health, safety, and environmental programs. It also provides administrative support to regional and site managers, ensuring consistency across operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain the Company Safety Manual annually.
- Create and uphold safety standards and procedures.
- Conduct weekly site inspections to identify and mitigate unsafe conditions, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with external safety consultants for site inspections.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain related documentation.
- Complete safety pre-qualification for job specifications.
- Lead investigations of injuries and incidents, documenting findings for review.
- Collaborate with the H&S Director to deliver safety education across the organization.
- Work with managers to improve safety performance across multiple states.
- Review and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and HazCom compliance.
- Distribute and inspect PPE, ensuring all new hires are equipped.
- Maintain safety records, monitor equipment, and schedule maintenance.
- Manage H&S meetings, including invitations, attendance, and minutes.
- Partner with HR on Return-to-Work programs.
- Provide safety orientations and ongoing training for new and current employees.
- Develop and lead safety talks and toolbox meetings.
- Organize and participate in Corporate Safety Committee meetings.
- Maintain safety training records and certifications.
- Distribute safety bulletins and update safety signage.
- Coordinate emergency drills and develop safety and rescue plans.
- Ensure confidentiality of safety information and promote a respectful workplace.
- Perform other safety-related tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety with 3-5 years' relevant experience in construction or HVAC.
- Knowledge of OSHA and federal/state safety regulations.
- Ability to train, motivate, and influence teams.
- OSHA 30-hour certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Clean DMV record.
- HVAC knowledge is a plus.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as needed to sites in NH, VT, MA, NY, and others.
