Pay Range

$94,350 to $128,572

Job Summary

The Health & Safety Engineer will be an experienced safety professional reporting to the Director, Health, Safety & Security. The role involves supporting plant networks in developing a health and safety culture, especially focusing on underperforming plants, with significant travel (around 60% or more). Responsibilities include coaching, identifying performance gaps, and supporting policy and process upgrades.

Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or health and safety
  • Minimum 8 years in turnaround situations within manufacturing safety
  • Understanding of OSHA 1904 standards
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Risk assessment, incident investigation, coaching, OSHA requirements, cultural change management
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001 and OSHA 1904 standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Results-oriented, motivated, creative
  • Strong influencing and change management skills
  • Ability to identify and close compliance gaps
  • Experience in the aluminum extrusion industry (preferred but not mandatory)
Job Responsibilities
  • Deploy projects like Brady 360 for standardization
  • Assess effectiveness of corrective actions and support audits
  • Evaluate and standardize H&S processes across plants
  • Develop competency matrices and training materials
  • Audit signage and ensure compliance messaging in multiple languages
  • Travel extensively (60-75%)
