Job summary

Health Research, Inc. in New York City is seeking a Research Scientist II (Data Analysis) to conduct analyses from NYSDOH and other data sources to support Value Based Payment initiatives.

Onsite/hybrid work is available in NYC-area counties with a grant-funded role. The position requires graduate-level training in Public Health/EPID/Statistics or related fields and experience with R, SAS, SQL, and large databases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics or related field with 3 years of research experience.
• Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Doctorate degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct analyses from state and federal data sources to plan and evaluateValue Based Payment (VBP) initiatives.
• Execute draft measure specifications and analyze data collected for projects.
• Summarize results and disseminate findings through presentations, reports and manuscripts.
