Job summary

BRG is seeking interns for Fall 2026–May 2027 in our Health Analytics Practice, located in Chicago. The program offers mentorship, training, hands-on learning, and a pipeline to full-time Associates upon graduation, subject to fit.

Interns will gain exposure to data collection, project work, and analyses across legal and business contexts, with up to 20 hours/week in the downtown Chicago office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration or related analytical field, with expected graduation Winter 2027–Summer 2028.
• GPA 3.6+ preferred.
• Interest in applying analytics to business, financial, legal, regulatory, or policy questions.
• Strong quantitative, research, written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced client-service environment.
• Attention to detail, curiosity, and commitment to high-quality work.
• Experience with Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL or similar; AI tools desirable.
• U.S. work authorization without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Develop a practical understanding of industries, markets, legal claims, and business issues relevant to each engagement by gathering information from clients and sources.
• Identify, collect, develop, maintain, analyze, and review data, qualitative materials, spreadsheets, and other files for project needs.
• Combine programming, model building, and statistical analysis using SQL, R, Stata, SAS, Python, or Snowflake.
• Interact with senior staff, experts, and clients to clearly communicate questions, findings, and recommendations.
• Demonstrate creativity and efficient analytical skills to develop novel solutions tailored to projects.
• Provide valuable contributions to client deliverables and expert reports.
