Job Description: The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD), is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Health Aide at Georgia Regional Hospital - Atlanta, located in Decatur, GA. Salary Range - $36,608.00 - $40,144.00 based on experience Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Job Description: Provide basic patient care and work with patients/clients to develop daily living skills. May take vital signs.
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma/GED and six (6) months of experience in a related field; one (1) year of experience required at the lower-level Health Aide 1 (HCS020) or position equivalent.

Six months experience performing direct care activities, basic nursing procedures and/or training for persons with physical/mental health and substance abuse disabilities and/or recent military service in a related field. Proficient in computer skills.
