Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a data science and AI lead to design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions across healthcare and public health domains. You will drive GenAI initiatives with LLMs, RAG, and advanced analytics while building scalable pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, CS, AI, ML, Engineering, Math, Public Health, or related field.
• Experience developing AI/ML solutions with Python and libraries (Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TF/PyTorch).
• Experience applying AI to automate workflows to improve efficiency.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions into production environments.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, and RAG.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain AI/ML solutions for healthcare, public health, biomedical research, and operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve organizational efficiency by applying AI and analytics.
• Develop GenAI solutions using LLMs, retrieval augmented generation, semantic search, and vector databases.
• Develop scalable data science pipelines using Python, SQL, Spark, and cloud-native analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, researchers, engineers, program staff, and stakeholders to translate needs into production-ready AI solutions.
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership and code reviews.
