Job summary

Sun Life Financial in the United States is seeking a Health Advisor to provide high-touch customer service to PinnacleCare Members, coordinating healthcare needs and helping navigate the healthcare system for timely care.

You will build relationships with physicians and hospital staff, arrange records and appointments, and support members and families with compassionate, efficient guidance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree in Social Work or health related field, or RN certification.
• Background in medical social work, nursing or case management.
• Hospital setting experience strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office, CRM databases and internet.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the Member’s healthcare, including medical records and scheduling.
• Facilitate second opinions with top physicians when needed.
• Develop relationships with physicians and hospital staff to support members.
• Provide high-touch customer service and proactive medical assistance.
