Job summary

Direct Jobs is seeking a PRN Chaplain 1 to provide compassionate spiritual care to Baylor Scott & White Health patients and their families. This role includes organizing religious services, offering emotional support, and partnering with healthcare staff to enhance patient care.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in a hospital setting. Key responsibilities include counseling, conducting religious services, and maintaining spiritual care records. Additional certification in Clinical Pastoral Education is required.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• One or more units of ACPE-CPE (Clinical Pastoral Education).

Responsibilities

• Organizes and conducts religious services.
• Provides counseling and spiritual education activities.
• Documents and maintains records of spiritual counseling.

Skills

Knowledge of philosophical systems and religions

Verbal and written communication skills

Exceptional listening skills

Ability to counsel people during periods of stress
