Copper State Bolt & Nut Co. in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Header Machine Operator. You will set up and operate header machines to manufacture high-quality fasteners, and you’ll be trained on our specialized equipment. No header machine experience?

We will train you. Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with weekends off. This is a stable, long-term opportunity with growth and a safety-focused, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing or production machinery preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written work instructions.
• Good organizational and note-taking skills.
• Reliable attendance and a positive team attitude.
• Ability to work independently and safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate header machines and supporting equipment to manufacture high-quality fasteners.
• Learn to adjust machine settings for different production jobs.
• Perform routine machine inspections and daily preventative maintenance.
• Inspect parts using measuring tools, gauges, and visual inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Safely move materials and finished products throughout the production process.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all Lockout/Tagout procedures and company safety policies.
• Cross-train in other manufacturing areas as needed and assist with training new team members as your experience grows.
