Job summary

Lam Research in Oregon is seeking a Business Analyst 3 to join the Global Planning & Operations Group. You will model headcount by role and location, transform workforce data into actionable insights, and drive cross-functional forecasting and reporting.

You’ll build dashboards, collaborate with stakeholders, and improve forecasting accuracy, supporting executives with data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Engineering, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Five years of Operations related experience in data science, program management, analytics, or similar roles.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with experience influencing stakeholders.
• Demonstrated success in a fast-paced global working environment.
• Strong experience in business analysis, workforce planning, operations analytics, or related analytical role.
• Experience with data profiling, data visualization, dashboard development, and executive-level reporting.
• Strong systems aptitude with the ability to leverage business tools and data platforms to support forecasting and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Leverage business systems and data sources to model headcount by role, competency, region, and location.
• Collect, profile, validate, and analyze workforce, build plan, and resource data to identify trends and capacity risks.
• Develop data-driven recommendations to support headcount planning and leadership reviews.
• Build dashboards and reporting tools that communicate workforce demand and capacity constraints.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand global process requirements and future needs.
• Support continuous improvement of headcount forecasting models and data quality.
