Job summary

St. Anne High School is excited to start wrestling for our students and community. The Head Wrestling Coach will lead the creation of a new program in partnership with the Athletic Director, with grappling set to begin in the Winter of 2025.

This role offers the opportunity to influence mats, equipment, uniforms, the hiring of an assistant coach, and the program’s growth into Junior High, helping establish the St. Anne Cardinal wrestling tradition.

Qualifications

• Illinois PEL license with appropriate endorsement.
• High School Diploma or GED and successful completion of IHSA/IESA Coaches training.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a new high school wrestling program.
• Collaborate with the Athletic Director on goals, logistics and program direction.
• Make decisions on mats, equipment, uniforms, and hiring of an assistant coach.
• Plan for growth into Junior High and build a lasting Cardinal wrestling tradition.

Education
