Job summary

King Philip Regional High School seeks a dynamic Head Varsity Track and Field Coach to lead the Girls Secondary program for outdoor season. You will oversee all aspects of the track and field program, including event training, athlete safety, meet management, and mentoring assistant coaches.

The role requires prior high school/club coaching experience, First Aid/CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain), and strong organizational and public speaking skills to motivate student-athletes toward

Qualifications

Experience coaching at high school, club, or college level; varsity head coaching preferred.
First Aid/CPR/AED certification required or obtainable before season.
Strong organizational, communication, and motivational skills for working with student-athletes.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute daily practices and conditioning for various event disciplines.
Develop athletes technically and mentally with emphasis on safety and academics.
Manage meet operations, entries, logistics, and assist coaching staff.
Establish clear expectations for conduct and foster a high-energy, inclusive team culture.
Maintain professional communication with students, parents, administration, and athletic director.
