Job summary

King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, MA, is seeking a dynamic Head Varsity Indoor Track and Field Coach to lead our student-athletes into the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will focus on athletics, personal growth, and sportsmanship while overseeing all aspects of the program.

Responsibilities include planning practices for sprint, distance, jumps, and throws; coordinating meet entries; mentoring assistant coaches; and maintaining equipment, safety, and academic performance.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching at high school, club, or collegiate level.
• First Aid / CPR / AED certification or ability to obtain prior to season start.
• State coaching certification/licensure as required by state athletic association.
• Pass a standard criminal background check and be able to work flexible hours during the season.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily practices and conditioning programs for various track events.
• Manage meet operations, lineups, entries, and logistics.
• Oversee equipment, inventories, and uniform maintenance.
• Foster a culture of sportsmanship and safety while mentoring assistant coaches.
