King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham is seeking a dynamic Head Varsity Track and Field Coach to lead the boys' outdoor season. You will oversee practices, meet logistics, safety, and mentor the coaching staff.

The ideal candidate has high school coaching experience, relevant certifications, strong organizational and communication skills, and a commitment to academics, sportsmanship, and player development.

Qualifications

• High school, club, or collegiate track coaching experience.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification required (or ability to obtain before season start).
• State coaching certification/licensure as required by state athletic association.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to motivate student-athletes.
• Must pass a standard criminal background check and work flexible hours during the season.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and execute daily practices and conditioning programs for sprint, distance, jumps, and throws.
• Teach technique, strategy, safety, and academic focus while developing athletes.
• Manage meet lineups, entries, logistics and direct assistant coaches.
• Establish expectations for conduct and promote sportsmanship and inclusivity.
• Communicate with athletes, parents, school administration, and the Athletic Director; oversee equipment and uniforms.
