Job summary

Springboro Community City Schools is seeking a Head Varsity Boys Lacrosse Coach on a one-year supplemental contract. The role involves supervising student activities, enforcing district policies, and reporting to the Athletic Director.

The coach will oversee all practices and games, manage equipment, maintain records, and foster sportsmanship and school pride among players. Position requires CPR and pupil activity permits per policy.

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certificate preferred.
• Prior lacrosse experience or knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work with those involved in setting up the program.
• Ability to work with young athletes and positively influence their lives.
• Maintain required pupil activity permits and CPR certification per policy.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all practice sessions and scheduled games.
• Work in cooperation with staff and Athletic Director.
• Distribute, collect and inventory all equipment/uniforms.
• Keep all necessary records and forms.
• Provide leadership and direction to students involved in this activity.
• Promote sportsmanship and school pride at all times.
• Maintain locker room facilities in a clean and presentable manner; check after practice.
• Support fundraising and concession staffing with team volunteers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
