Job summary

Planters Bank & Trust Company in Greenville, MS is seeking a dependable teller to manage the teller line, process deposits and withdrawals, and issue money orders, checks, and savings bonds. You will also maintain cash balance and security daily.

The role includes cross-selling bank services, handling customer inquiries, and, if needed, assisting with teller training and vault tasks, including night vault operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months of cash handling and balancing money transactions within prior four years.
• Communication skills in dealing with customers and employees.
• Satisfactory Credit Bureau and Background Check Report.
• Basic Accounting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manages all teller line activities and daily operations.
• Pays and receives funds for deposit account transactions.
• Issues Money Orders, Official Checks, Savings Bonds, and other products.
• Maintains security and balances cash on a daily basis.
• Cross-sells Bank’s Services and Products; answers customer questions.
• May assist in teller training; vault maintenance; night vault duties.
