Job summary

Vivvi Early Learning in Elon, NC is seeking a Head Teacher to oversee classroom well-being and development. You will design inquiry-based units, lead lesson planning, and ensure engaging, high-quality experiences for young children.

You will communicate with families about development, supervise activities with care, and uphold strict health and safety standards. A Bachelor's in ECE or Child Development is required, with 2+ years in a licensed center preferred.

About The Role

As a Head Teacher, you'll:

• Ensure the well-being and development of the children in your classroom
• Dream up rich, thematic units that foster children's curiosity and help them achieve key individual and age-appropriate milestones
• Lead planning and implementation of inquiry-based activities and curriculum tailored towards children's developmental growth
• Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
• Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children's development and growth
• Closely supervise children and adhere to robust health and safety protocol

• Have 2+ years of experience working in a licensed child care center capacity Have 2+ years of experience as a Head Teacher or in a similar role within a licensed child care center, including expertise in creating original lesson plans, leading parent-teacher conferences, and effectively liaising with families about children's development and milestones.
• Hold a Bachelors Degree in ECE or Child Development
