Job summary

YMCA Easton is seeking a Head Summer Camp Counselor to lead daily activities, supervise campers, and help deliver engaging programs during the summer season. This part-time, hourly role offers a rewarding opportunity to shape positive experiences for kids and teens in a welcoming community setting.

You will reinforce sportsmanship, support lesson plans, supervise swimming, and build strong relationships with members and parents while benefiting from team training and growth opportunities within

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age
• 2+ years working with children and teens, in a camp setting is a plus
• Degree (completed or in progress) in education or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Safely supervise campers through daily activities including swimming
• Reinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship, and bring enthusiasm to every camp day
• Support the lesson plans and camp objectives and ensure a safe environment for all campers
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with members and parents

What is needed for this job as a Head Summer Camp Counselor:

• 18+ years of age
