Job summary

South Middlesex Opportunity Council, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Health Coordinator in Framingham, MA to provide and coordinate health services for Head Start and Child Care programs.

Salary ranges from $72,000 to $75,000 annually, reflecting responsibilities in program philosophy, regulations, and performance standards. The role requires licensed health professional status, nursing degree preferred, and strong data/reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Licensed health professional.
• Relevant experience and supervision experience preferred.
• Preference given to current and past Head Start parents.
• Multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of SMOC Head Start philosophy and all regulations and performance standards.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Attend trainings, staff meetings, and committee meetings.
• Communicate with supervisor re: needs and concerns about children and families.
• Provide accurate and timely reports, record keeping, and other required paperwork.
• Maintain good work habits, including attendance and punctuality.
• Run and review weekly and monthly ChildPlus reports; monitor compliance and data accuracy.
• Ensure all Medical and Medication Data is current in ChildPlus.
• Create and distribute IHCP plans and forms from Medical Professionals for all children.
• Provide health counseling to families and staff; coordinate program-wide health activities.
